Seasons Gift Shop is located on Level 2 (main floor). From the main doors, (Main Entrance revolving doors) turn right down the Main Atrium. Seasons will be on your left past Robin’s Donuts and before the Grand Staircase.
If you ever have questions, you can get directions from one of our friendly volunteers at the Information Desk, across and to the right from the Main Entrance revolving doors.
Early mobilization for acute stroke and acquired brain injury patients helps reduce frustration and improve their socialization with family and caregivers. Thanks to a Volunteer Association/Health Sciences Foundation Family CARE grant, the Rehabilitation Stroke Team has two new specialized wheelchairs that support these clients more comfortably and safely, and help promote quicker progress getting into and out of bed independently.
Seasons Gift Shop at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre has a gift for every occasion. We offer many of the things that you’d expect from a gift shop. Proudly owned and operated by volunteers, all Seasons Gift Shop profits are donated to the Volunteer Association to be used to purchase patient care equipment.
Shop Seasons Gift Shop for confectionery, gifts, flowers, toys, and personal items including Solunet Sponges for surgery.
Can’t make it to the Health Sciences Centre, but want to let an inpatient know you’re thinking of them? Seasons offers a phone-in flower service so you can send specially designed arrangements or a selection of your own choosing. We will deliver your gift within the Health Sciences Centre.
Please remember, the Health Sciences Centre is a scent-free environment. Some inpatient units including Critical Care (ICU) and 1A may have flower restrictions. We would be happy to suggest a gift item for you in these cases.
