Except for the Fracture Clinic, all Ambulatory Care patients can register directly with Ambulatory Care. Please bring your health card.
For blood and lab work, turn right as you enter the Health Sciences Centre from the Main Entrance. The reception desk will be on your right just past the Admitting and finance office and across from Robin’s Donuts.
Other Ambulatory Care Services are provided at the Ambulatory Care Unit. Turn right at the Main Entrance and follow the Main Atrium until you reach the Grand Staircase. Turn right down the hallway and continue to Ambulatory Care, which is on your right between inpatient units 2A and 2B.
If you ever have questions, you can get directions from one of our friendly volunteers at the Information Desk, across and to the right from the main doors.
Your first and best source of information about your health is your own primary care provider (family doctor, nurse practitioner) or your specialist.

Ambulatory Care is a multi-purpose clinic that provides medical and surgical treatments to patients that do not require hospital admission or utilization of the operating room. It allows patients to attend on an outpatient basis and have timely access to necessary procedures, treatments and diagnostic tests.
All Ambulatory Care clinics and services are provided on a referral basis. Your primary care provider (family doctor or nurse practitioner) or another physician such as a doctor in the Emergency Department must order your referral.
