Utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach, Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre strives to provide excellence in Cardiao/Respiratory care services.

Cardio/Respiratory Services provide inpatient and outpatient medical diagnostic and therapeutic services including:

• Resiratory therapy support to Critical Care, Emergency, NICU, Maternal Child, Paediatrics, Med/Surg clinical programs and the operating rooms.
• Pulmonary Function testing.
• Cardio and neuro-electro diagnostics including EKG, EEG, stress testing, Holter monitoring, pacemaker/ICD clinics.
• Respiratory support to St. Joseph's Care Group including the Respiratory Rehab Program.
• Operation fo Northwestern Ontario Asthma Clinic.
• Operation of Regional Bookings Services.
• Provide clinical rotation for Canadore College Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Cardio/Respiratory Services are composed of a very dynamic team of health care professionals and support staff which include:
• Registered Respiratory Therapists
• Certified EKG Technicians
• Registered Cardiology Technologists
• Certified EEG Technicians
• Respiratory Aides
• Receptionists
• Asthma Educators
• COPD Educators
